Care of Concrete Countertops
- 1. Non-abrasive household cleaners are safe to use on your Verdicrete countertop.
Windexis recommended.
- 2. Use a 3M Scotchbrite pad for scrubbing. Blend out any areas
in intense scrubbing.
- 3. As with any countertop material, a cutting board should always be used when chopping or preparing foods.
- 4. It is best not to let spills linger overnight, however a
durable finish, like the one used on Verdicrete is guaranteed
stainproof.
- 5. Always use a hot plate or trivet when setting items from an oven onto a countertop. Although concrete is very heat resistant, the finish can be damaged from prolonged exposure to very high temperatures.
- 6. Pledge is helpful to minimize minor streaking and help things
slide smoothly across your top.
